Property tax is less expensive

In Italy, you pay the tax on property. Its cost represents about 1% of the Cadastral value of the property, which is re-evaluated every 8 years.

The applicable rate and the cadastral revision are specific to each region. This tax is collected by the Agencia Del Entrata.

Example : cost of € 150 per year for a property valued at € 100,000

Rental tax

If your property is rented, the tax base is equal to the gross income The tax rate is 24%.

If your property is not rented, but for example used only by yourselves: the Income Tax is due to 24% of a notional rental income estimated at 2% of the cadastral value. The latter has not been revised since 1994, the price is 1.1%..

Example : € 150 per year for a property of € 100,000

Inheritance
